Gone for awhile

As some of you may know, Last Friday I came down with a condition called Bell's Palsy. Theres is no absolute cause and no treatment. It has caused me to be temporarily paralysed on the left side of my face. This update will NOT have pictures!!! I am not in pain other than my eyes drying out since I can't blink. I am trying to stay positive about the situation even though it is becoming harder and harder everyday. I have talked to different people and read in different places about how long it should last. It could be weeks or even months. This is all coming just 2 weeks after having a severe kidney infection.

The other bad thing is it's really hard to take pictures since I cant really see out of my left eye. I would really go CRAZY if I cant take pictures of my kids. Stevie doesn't notice any difference and AJ is giving me advice on how to smile. Travis has been really good about not making fun of me even though I know it has to be really hard. Im sleeping in a pirates eye mask. Id make fun of me!!!

One thing Ive read is that it sometimes goes away just as spontaneously as it appears, usually overnight. Time will tell, I guess.

She was soooo excited about finally riding a bull!

Until it started moving, she was brave but wanted to get off so bad!!

She was so happy riding on her Daddy's shoulders!!

Once we got in the car, a friend gave Stevie a ball. He was so happy!!

Overall we had a really great time. AJ brought two friends and Travis' partner came with us. I started a new diet which was very hard to follow with Strawberry Shortcake and Divinity, but I didnt touch either!!!
